12:30 pm: Special Lunchtime Free Concert
As part of our Summer Festival of Sacred Music, the Choir of Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon, will perform a FREE concert on Wednesday, July 28th at 12:30 pm in the Chapel. The Choir is the resident ensemble of England’s most visited and most famous Parish Church (William Shakespeare is buried in the chancel of the church.) Come join this notable Anglican choir during your lunch break, as they present sacred works from the past and present.

12:45 pm: The Gospel, the New York Times & You
The Rev. Lynn C. Sanders leads a reflection on the upcoming Sunday readings + the day’s New York Times Op-Ed page. Thoughtful, respectful discussion. Laughter. Occasional irreverence. All are welcome.

St. Bart’s Book Group continues with a series of “short takes” in which each participant is welcomed to lead a discussion of a work which has powerfully impacted their spirituality. Every Sunday from 12:30-2 pm in the Vestry Room. Questions? Email John Wirenius: jwirenius@juno.com.

12:30 pm: Hot Church History
Wonder about the origin of the filioque clause in the Nicene creed, reasons for iconoclasm, politics of the black rubric in the 1552 Prayer Book or even why St. Bartholomew’s was founded? For four Sundays (July 11, 18, 25, and August 1), John Richards will give an overview of the history of the Church in the Welcome Center beginning at 12:30 pm. All are welcome.
