Bring a Friend to Church—or Come and Make a Friend!
You may have heard, studies show Episcopalians invite someone to church, on the average, once every 34 years. We hope to improve these numbers by hosting a special Sunday on June 3 to help you introduce your friends to the beautiful liturgy, wonderful music and radical welcome found at St. Bart’s. This is an extraordinary time for The Episcopal Church in the wake of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's stirring sermon preached at the royal wedding. For anyone who wants to learn more about this life-giving, liberating love, now is the perfect time to come join us for church where we gather to take time to consider our mission of creating "a world where love is the way."
See the complete schedule for the day here. We will have a compelling forum at 10:05 am with Senator George J. Mitchell discussing “A Path to Peace” his memoir of his pivotal work for peace in the Middle East.
We are also planning a special coffee hour, and the Store@StBarts will offer 10% off all purchases. We invite you to ask friends of all ages and from any spiritual background or faith.
