Ongoing Schools
The goal of the Preschool is to help parents identify the best ongoing school options, based on each child’s unique profile. During the Spring, an “Ongoing School Forum” is held. At this time, parents learn more about their public and private school options, how the process works, etc. Soon after, they meet individually with the Director to discuss a range of specific schools appropriate for their child. ERB Testing is offered on-site, in the Fall, to students in Class IV.
While some of our Preschool graduates continue on to schools within the public sector, the vast majority of graduates from St. Bartholomew Community Preschool are accepted into an extensive and impressive list of private schools in the New York area, including, but not limited to, Allen-Stevenson, Brearley, Browning, Buckley, Chapin, Collegiate, Dalton, Hewitt, Friends, Sacred Heart, Spence, St. Bernard's, and Trinity.
