Let my People Go: Liberation in the Bible

The Israelites escape from Egypt; the sick are healed; Jesus triumphs over death and sin: throughout the Bible, people experience liberation -- freedom from all that oppresses them and holds them back. Dent Davidson, Interim Director of Emerging Liturgy and Music, and the Reverend Susan Anderson-Smith, Associate Rector for Justice and Reconciliation, share their favorite passages relating to liberation, and discuss how the Bible can serve as impetus for liberation in our own time.
