Choir Auditions - By Appointment

St. Bartholomew's Choir is excited to hear singers of all voice parts for both our regular and auxiliary roster for services and concerts.
Please email if you're interested (auditions slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis), and in your email please include the following:
- An updated resume of applicable performance experience
- Your availability on the audition date.
- Recordings, if you have them.
- Proof of COVID vaccination

LOCATION: St. Bartholomew’s Church, 325 Park Avenue, New York, NY

SCHEDULE AND FEES
St. Bartholomew's Choir is an 18-voice professional ensemble that maintains a year-round schedule of Sunday Services. A normal Sunday pays $220.00, which includes:
10:00 am call for 11:00 am service ($140.00)
1:00 - 3:00 pm rehearsal ($40.00/hr = $80.00 total)*
Extra services and rehearsals are called frequently and at minimum pay the same rate.
About 9 times each year, a Sunday service is presented as A Choral Feast. These sometimes include a chamber orchestra, with some solo opportunities in Masses of Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, etc. Last season also included a CD recording of the Choir as well as a feature on PBS Great Performances' documentary about Amy Beach in the series Now Hear This.
