Dr. Mary Boys of Union Theological Seminary will lead us in an exploration of Jesus’ Jewish context and how the "Jesus Movement" developed within first-century Jewish life. This series of three classes will examine the ways in which Second Temple Judaism and Jesus’ identity as a Galilean Jew informed his message and his movement for the kingdom of God. We are delighted to welcome members of the clergy and congregation of Central Synagogue to join us for this event.
