Stewardship ministries
As a member of the Development Committee, through the giving of your time and talents, your service will advance and grow the church operating funds supporting the annual Mission Plan (e.g., budget). Committee members recognize God’s abundance in all things, understand that generosity and gratitude come from the Gospel, and are willing to share their faith with others.
Committee members are asked for these three things in their service:
- Serve for a minimum 3-year period, including regular attendance at committee meetings and stewardship events; consistency and continuity are essential when working to support St. Bart’s strategies and implementation for financial growth with a spiritual foundation.
- Make calls/texts/visits to parishioners.
- Write thank you notes for gifts and pledges given.
The Development Committee, a standing committee of the Vestry, comprises members of the Vestry and volunteer members. The committee meets once a month and is responsible for leading and supporting the annual pledge campaign, the Mosaic Society, and other activities that support the ministry and mission of St. Bart's.
