Music and Performing Arts Ministries
Serve the Church
"Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" through music and the arts.
Choirs
St. Bart's Singers is a talented and dedicated ensemble of volunteers from the parish, with professional section leaders, who lead our singing every Sunday at the 9 am service, in music from traditions around the world and across the centuries. They rehearse on Wednesday nights, September to June, and join St. Bartholomew’s Choir and the Choristers for major feast days.
St. Bartholomew’s Choristers invites youth to join for the coming season, beginning this September. Auditions are heard throughout the year and the program is offered at no cost to its participants.
The St. Bart’s Players
Founded in 1927 as part of the Community Club, the St. Bart’s Players welcomes all for roles both onstage and off. Sing, act, help out backstage or front of house, and join in the many social activities taking place throughout the year.
Ushers and Box Office
Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation (MMPAF) and the St. Bart’s Players perform a few times a year and can use some welcoming, friendly faces to assist, often allowing you to stay for the performance, free of charge!
