For the month of June, The Peace Book Club completes its exploration of Jesus and the Disinherited, a classic work about the connection between Christianity and social justice by Howard Thurman, the dean of Marsh Chapel at Boston University who served as a major influence on The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Please read chapter 5 ahead of the next discussion.
