10:00 am The Forum Out & Proud: Jane Lynch on LGBTQ+ Pride
Beloved actress Jane Lynch, currently starring in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl, visits St. Bart’s to reflect on her life as an openly lesbian public figure and share stories from her long and acclaimed career. -
11:00 am - Pride Sunday Choral Eucharist with Guest Preacher Julie Rodgers,
author of Outlove: A Queer Christian Survival Story. She played a key role in shutting down Exodus International, the largest conversion therapy organization in the world, and was featured in the Netflix documentary, Pray Away. -
12:15 pm - Annual Pride Sunday Barbecue on the Great Terrace
Join in our annual Pride Sunday celebration on the Great Terrace. Pride is for all, and all are welcome, allies included! No registration is required. -
12:30 pm - Sermon Talkback with Julie Rodgers in the Great Hall
Gather in the Great Hall during lunch for a Q&A session with guest preacher Julie Rodgers. -
1:30 pm (approx.) - Blessing of the Marchers
Anyone who would like to march in the annual Pride parade with St. Bart's is invited to gather on the Great Terrace for a Blessing of the Marchers. After the barbecue we will join the parade with the rest of the Episcopal diocesan contingent gathered at The Church of the Transfiguration at 1 E 29th St. Please note that official marching times will not be confirmed until the week of June 20. COVID-19 Safety Protocols
- All persons over the age of 5 attending in-person worship at St. Bart’s must show proof of vaccination, and eligible adults must show proof of vaccination and a booster shot.
- Masks are required for all, at all times.
- At the 11 am service, outdoor seating is available on the terrace. The outdoor congregation will view our live stream from the church, and receive Holy Communion in person from a priest. Proof of vaccination is not required for outdoor seating.
- Please do not attend services in person if, at any time, you experience symptoms known to be associated with COVID-19. For the safety of the wider community, we encourage all of our members to receive the vaccination.
