How can we faithfully respond to the traumas we face? Boston University professor Shelly Rambo, an expert on the theology of trauma, finds guidance in the accounts of Jesus’ resurrection. Rambo’s 2017 book Resurrecting Wounds: Living in the Afterlife of Trauma is the focus of our Wednesday evening group discussion.

Decolonizing Christianity

The Reverend Dr. Miguel de la Torre, Professor of Social Ethics and Latinx Studies at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, explains why it is important to de-couple Christianity and whiteness. Professor de la Torre’s new book Decolonizing Christianity was released in March.
