Franz Wright: "The Hawk"

Bill’s guest was the Pulitzer Prize winning poet Franz Wright. His poem The Hawk has been set to music by noted composer Evan Solot. The composition, which premiered during the 11 o’clock service on November 20, 2011, was commissioned in honor of Dr. James Marion, parishioner and former warden at St. Bart’s. Mr. Solot and Dr. Marion also took part in the forum. Read more in the New York Times story.
