11 am (Church) Choral Eucharist

with St. Bartholomew's Choir and St. Bartholomew's Choristers.  This service is A Choral Feast with St. Bartholomew’s Choir presenting Franz Schubert’s Mass in C Major, D. 452, with chamber orchestra.

Franz Schubert’s sacred music for choir and orchestra carries the torch of Viennese Classicism passed to him by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. First written in 1816 at age 19, it has many hallmarks of Schubert’s particular brand of classicism, including a sense of melody that seems effortless, careful texturing, balance, and a lightness of touch.

  • Wonder Church (formerly Kids' Church) for children in the chapel.

Join us in person or via livestream.  Download our worship leaflet to follow along (available on Friday).
