Dr. T.K. Nakagaki

Today we  welcomed the Rev. Dr. T. K. Nakagaki, President of the Buddhist Council of New York and noted Japanese calligrapher, who gave  us a glimpse of his broad ministry in New York City. Since 1994, the Rev. Nakagaki has organized an annual interfaith peace event to commemorate the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings. This year, the interfaith service is being held here at St. Bart’s on Saturday August 5 from 5: to 7:30 pm.
