Jay’s work with Forward Movement explores catalysts for spiritual growth in individuals and in congregations. The work begins with research that had its origins in a large non-denominational church outside of Chicago (Willow Creek). RenewalWorks seeks to adapt, translate, sift those learnings to see what applies to Episcopal congregations. We’re discovering a distinct Episcopal culture, with particular factors that contribute to spiritual growth. We’re also learning about what seems to impede such growth.
