Episcopal Charities Sunday will take place Sunday, May 9th at parishes all around the Diocese of New York.
Episcopal Charities is a major contributor to the work of Crossroads at St. Bart’s. Some disheartening statistics: Last May, 10% of New Yorkers reported being food insecure. That number jumped to 14% by December and 19% of adults in New York reported having children in their households who were not eating enough. Episcopal Charities was founded in 1996 and, since then, they have granted more than $17 million to local programs affiliated with parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of New York serving these people in need.
