Migrant Ministries Fair & Postcard Party

Gather in the Great Hall at 10 am for a conversation with Mary Rothwell Davis, Vice Chancellor for Immigration and Refugees for the Episcopal Diocese of New York (live streamed).

After the 11 am service (around 12:15 pm), stay for Coffee Hour in the Great Hall and take part in:

• Postcard Project — Write postcards to elected officials in support of H.R. 1061/5.455, advocating for sanctuary protections for houses of worship, with guidance from the Episcopal Church’s Office of Government Relations.

• Meet Partner Organizations — Connect with New Sanctuary Coalition, Open Hands Legal Services, El Barrio Angels, and TransLatina Network. Discover ways to get involved — from court accompaniment and translation to advocacy and direct support.

• Backpack Assembly — Help pack school supplies for migrant families. Backpacks will be distributed at the Row Hotel on Wednesday, September 24 at 3 pm. Click here to sponsor a backpack or sign up to volunteer. 

• Taste & Celebrate — Enjoy homemade baklava from Eat Offbeat, a catering company powered by refugee and immigrant chefs.
