9 am Eucharist in the Round

Guest preacher: The Right Reverend Deon Johnson, Bishop of Missouri

10 am The Forum

The Right Reverend Deon Johnson, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri, reflects on his experience as the first openly gay Black bishop in The Episcopal Church and the ways in which the Church is still working towards the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ people. (Live streamed)

11 am Choral Eucharist

A designated "Choral Feast" at St. Bart's, the 11am service of Holy Eucharist in the Church will include musical selections by LGBTQ+ composers presented by the St. Bartholomew's Choir. Bishop Deon Johnson will preach. The Right Reverend Matthew Heyd, recently ordained as Bishop Coadjutor of The Episcopal Diocese of New York, will join us as Presider (Live streamed)

12:15 pm Annual Pride Barbecue on the Great Terrace

Join us for a festive lunch in celebration of Pride. RSVP

1 pm NYC Pride March

All are welcome to march with St. Bart's and the Episcopal Diocese of New York in the NYC Pride Parade.  A group will leave from the Great Terrace at 1pm. RSVP

National Anthems

Wednesdays, June 14-July 19, 7-8 pm via Zoom

As we approach the observances of Juneteenth (June 19) and Independence Day (July 4), The Reverend Peter Thompson leads an exploration of Lift Every Voice and Sing (the Black National Anthem) and The Star-Spangled Banner (the National Anthem of the United States of America), drawing on the books May We Forever Stand: A History of the Black National Anthem by Imani Perry and O Say Can You Hear? A Cultural Biography of The Star-Spangled Banner by Mark Clague.

Film Director Yuval David and Executive Producer Mark McDermott discuss their new documentary, Wonderfully Made, which explores the challenges of LGBTQ+ Roman Catholics. The film is accompanied by an art project, which aims to expand the viewers' sacred imaginations by depicting The Christ through diverse ethnicities, genders, races, sexualities and identities.  (Livestream available) Learn more.
