Enjoy these photos from Sunday, June 8, 2025 when we celebrated the Day of Pentecost! Our red banners were waving for this festival Sunday, and touches of red were seen everywhere in the congregation. We welcomed the Reverend Canon Leyla King, Canon for Mission in Small Congregations, Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, as guest preacher at 9 am and 11 am and guest speaker at The Forum at 10 am. At the 11 am service, people read Acts 2:5–11 in languages other than English at the same time the lesson was read in English, giving a powerful sense of that first Pentecost. Two children received the sacrament of Holy Baptism, and each received a beautiful handmade baby blanket as a gift from the St. Tabitha's Guild. We also joyfully celebrated the Reverend Canon Stephanie Spellers' 20th anniversary of ordained ministry.
