Refreshment Sunday Coffee Hour

This Sunday, we will take a break from our usual Lenten practice of fasting to enjoy special treats at our Coffee Hour. The 4th Sunday in Lent, also called Rose Sunday, Mothering Sunday or Refreshment Sunday, refers to its sense of respite halfway through this season of fasting and penitence. On this day, the fast was allowed to be relaxed, hence the name "Refreshment Sunday". We’ll serve traditional St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) and St. Joseph’s Day (March 19) goodies in the back of the church.
