Muslim Women Fighting Antisemitism: A Conversation and Workshop

Thursday, March 12, 2026, 6-7:30 pm at Central Synagogue - Pavilion

What would happen if we were to respond to antisemitism by finding the bright lights dispelling the darkness within our interfaith networks, and choosing to build solidarity and safety together? One ally's story can show us how.

Soraya Deen is a visionary interfaith and intercultural advocate against antisemitism. A Muslim feminist activist, community organizer, and lawyer, she travels the country teaching workshops about fighting against antisemitism from her vantage point as a staunch ally.

Join us for this moving and motivating program with Rabbi Sarah Berman and Soraya Deen, where we will learn how Soraya's experiencesof war and Islamophobia encouraged her to love rather than hate. At the end of the program, Soraya will lead us in an "action plan" discussion and reflection workshop, where we will brainstorm together possible ways to improve our lives and our city by fighting antisemitism through interfaith solidarity.
