Faith in Action at St. Bart's

Here at St. Bart's we believe that love, peace, compassion, and justice are at the core of Jesus's teaching. The purpose of Faith in Action at St. Bart's is to participate in the Kingdom of God through advocacy, aid, and activism for the common good of all people throughout our city, nation, and the world.

Faith In Action Team x Coalition for the Homeless: Monthly Dinner Service

Join us at St. Bart’s on the first Friday of every month to serve dinner to our neighbors in need! We’ve teamed up with Coalition for the Homeless to secure a standing volunteer opportunity for St. Bart’s parishioners.

What to expect:

  • Each shift can accommodate six volunteers.
  • The time commitment is 4:30-6:30 pm: the first hour will be spent packaging meals from trays to individual servings - we begin serving folks at 5:30pm.
  • Please expect to be on your feet for the duration of the shift!

Submit your availability or join the waitlist for specific dates here.
