Dear Friends,
Ms. Tara Marlovits will be transitioning out of the Chief Operating role at the end of February. We are grateful for Tara’s service to St. Bart’s and we appreciate her contributions to our community over the past 15 months. During Tara’s tenure, we’ve been able to make headway on many of the parish’s strategic priorities, including reaching a definitive decision on closing the preschool, negotiating a more profitable lease agreement with the restaurant, maximizing our athletic rentals, and embarking on critical facilities work.
This staffing change provides an opportunity for the staff and Vestry to determine the management structure that will provide the most effective operational and administrative leadership for the parish. We will be using the coming weeks to discern how best to support our day-to-day operational and financial needs and will share updates with the congregation as they develop.
