The Reverend Molly O'Neil Frank

by The Right Reverend Dean E. Wolfe on December 15, 2023

Dear Friends,

I am very pleased to announce that the Reverend Molly O’Neil Frank has joined our staff as a part-time Assisting Priest. Molly is a familiar presence at St. Bart’s, having served in lay ministry here for many years before pursuing Holy Orders. She will continue her primary ministry as a Staff Palliative Care Chaplain at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; a ministry she recently spoke about at The Forum on October 29th. Molly will serve in Sunday liturgies at St. Bart’s a few times each month and will offer pastoral care and counsel to the parish as she is available.

Molly completed her Clinical Pastoral Education at Weill-Cornell Medical Center and was ordained a priest in September, 2023. She currently serves on the Ethics Committees at both Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, as well as a Master of Arts in Ministry from General Theological Seminary in New York City.

After graduating from college, Molly worked as a theater producer in New York City. While raising her children, she served on the boards and executive committees of Playwrights in Action, Diller-Quaile Music School, The Allen- Stevenson School, and The Keewaydin Foundation. She is a founding member of The Lighthouse Works, a residential artist’s fellowship program on Fishers Island and is currently on the Executive Committee of the Jed Foundation, whose mission is to promote mental health and prevent suicide in colleges and high schools. She is also serving as an Assisting Priest at Grace Church in Millbrook, New York. Molly lives in New York City with her husband, Linc, with whom she has four adult children.

Saint Bart’s is fortunate to have a priest of Molly’s caliber and experience. I hope you will find an opportunity to introduce yourself to her.

Faithfully,

The Right Reverend Dean E. Wolfe, D. D
Rector
